‘Cupid’ Words & Music by Sam Cooke CP ABKCO Music Inc.

Cupid draw back your bow. And let your arrow go. Straight back to my lover’s heart for me
Cupid please hear my cry. And let your arrow fly. Straight to my lover’s heart for me. Now I don’t mean to bother you. But I’m in distress. There’s danger of me losing all of my happiness. For I love a girl who doesn’t know I exist. And this you can fix So... Cupid draw back your bow. And let your arrow go. Straight to my lover’s heart for me. Cupid please hear my cry. And let your arrow fly. Straight to my lover’s heart for me. Cupid with your arrow make her love strong for me. I promise I will love her until eternity. I know between the two of us her heart we can steal. Help me if you will So... Cupid draw back your bow
And let your arrow go. Straight to my lover’s heart for me. Cupid please hear my cry. And let your arrow fly. Straight to my lover’s heart for me. Cupid, don’t you hear me calling you
I need you. Cupid help me.

‘Happy All The Time’ Words & Music by Nick Baker CP 2009 NAB

When I was younger, just about the age of one. My mother, she played records that were lots of fun. She and her friends, they like to work out and play. They tossed me all around, and it really made my day. Whether it’s Jackson, or Marvin Gay. Lips Inc and the Bee Gees got me dancing all day. Cheryl Lynn, Alicia, and Sylvester too. And the Village People had me putting on my shoes. Old Thelma never left me standing at all. Chick showed me a good time, and I had quite a ball. I couldn’t get enough of Barry White. And old Lionel had me dancing, all through the night.
So to all those great artists, those who are still around. I love your music, and I dig your sound. I like to dance, and you know it ain’t a crime. The feeling that I feel is, happy all the time.
Miss Donna Summer, she put hot stuff in my brain. Then Mister Green told me how to ease the pain. Old James Brown had me really feeling good. I couldn’t stop because I knew it’s understood. Diana gave me such a sweet love hangover. Gloria taught me how to be a true survivor. KC taught me how to get down tonight. Then I joined Lake Side on their fantastic ride. I did the freakazoid with Midnight Star. They showed me how to do it, and I got very far.
So to all those great artists, those who are still around. I love your music, and I dig your sound. I like to dance, and you know it ain’t a crime. The feeling that I feel is happy all the time. Yes to all those great artists, those who are still around. I love your music, and I dig your sound. I like to dance, and you know it ain’t a crime. The feeling that I feel, for you is mighty real. The feeling that I feel is, Happy All The Time.

It takes both wings to fly the eagle.
With only one, she’s doomed to die
On a dangerous road and looking feeble
Stumbling through, ‘stead of flying high.

Left and right, both wings for balance.
Steady, strong and arched with grace.
It takes both wings to fly the eagle
Through storms of fear, together faced.

Chorus: Never mind who’s to blame

She must not walk in shame

It’s takes us all for perfect flight

So look up to the sky

And see her flying high and

Together we can get it right

Both eyes too and open wide,
None should nor will escape her view.
No foe within or out may hide
From scrutiny to justice due.

Quit crying how they put us here.
For they are us and them are we.
It takes both wings to fly an eagle!
Our Country’s symbol, proud & free.

Chorus: Never mind who’s to blame

She must not walk in shame

It’s takes us all for perfect flight

So look up to the sky

And see her flying high and

Together we can get it right

‘Troubadour Is Me’ Words & Music by Nick Baker CP 2009 NAB

In this life of mine when I was just 19. I started to write songs that sounded oh so clean.
But in those times of writing songs I’ve traveled with my friends, All the places I have gone the memories never end. From the airplanes to the subways, the paths to the van. I’ve sung a lot of songs in every place I can. In my heart I’ve always known Next time I’ll do it all again alone.

Every song that I sing and every place that I go. The memory of it comes right back to me.
Every melody that plays and every word that I write I hope someday that you all come to see. In time you’ll find the Troubadour is me.

After all the things I’ve done and songs that I have sung. I still keep saying to myself there are lots more things to come. It’s more than just the places that I’ve been on the East coast. It’s all the other places in between I like the most. From New York to California and every other state. No matter where I go each place for me is great. So if you wonder who I am or what I am inside? Remember I’m that kind of man who’ll always be your guide.
Repeat Chorus

And as I fall asleep at night I’ll dream of what was then, in these dreams I hope that I can do it once again. To those who have inspired me for many years to come, many songs will come to me and I’ll write them one by one. Every song that I sing and every place that I go  the memory of it comes right back to me.
Every melody that plays and every word that I write.  I hope someday you all come to see.
And if you look inside your mind. As clear as it can be.  In time you’ll find the Troubadour is me.

"All my Christmas memories are filled with songs! I'd like to share them with you." ---Nick Baker

The First Noel

(1883) Traditional Christmas Carol

The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds
in fields as they lay;
In fields as they lay, keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter's night that was so deep.

     [CHORUS]

Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.

     [CHORUS]

And by the light of that same star
Three wise men came from country far;
To seek for a king was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.

     [CHORUS]

This star drew nigh to the northwest,
O'er Bethlehem it took it rest,
And there it did both stop and stay
Right over the place where Jesus lay.

     [CHORUS]

Then entered in those wise men three
Full reverently upon their knee,
and offered there in his presence
Their gold, and myrrh, and frankincense.

     [CHORUS]

Then let us all with one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord;
That hath made heaven and earth of naught,
And with his blood mankind hath bought.

     [CHORUS]

Blue Christmas

I'll have a blue Christmas without you;
I'll be so blue just thinking about you.
Decorations of red
on a green Christmas tree
Won't mean a thing dear
if you're not here with me.

When those blue snowflakes start falling
that's when those blue memories start calling.
You'll be doing all right
with your Christmas of white.
But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas.

I'll have a blue Christmas without you;
I'll be so blue just thinking about you.
You'll be doing all right
with your Christmas of white.
But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas.
But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas.

Think Positive 'Songs With A Message'

Nick's Children's Album

words and music by Nick Baker

© P 2002 Nick Baker Music BMI

There are times within my life. There were good times and there were bad. Most times I was happy and others I was sad. But there's one thing that I've learned from times that were right and wrong. When things don't go my way, I learned how to be strong.

I just think positive when things don't go my way. I just think positive and I learned to say it's OK. When things don't work out right, there's no need to scream or shout. Just think positive and it all works out.

Sometimes with my friends I might not get my way. Sometimes they're too busy but there's always another day. But when I'm disappointed I remember what I've learned. When I just think good thoughts they'll be good things in return.

Just think positive when things don't go my way. I just think positive. I just learned to say OK. When things don't work out right, there's no need to scream or shout. Just think positive and it all works out.

'Cause I always know there's next time. Don't give up and don't give in, there's no question why.

Just think positive when things don't go your way. Just think positive and learn to say it's OK. When things don't work out right, there's no need to scream or shout. Just think positive and it all works out. Just think positive and it all works out.
